So the weather all week was looking pretty bleak for the big day and even the night before, were monsoon rains and terrible storms.  But when Saturday came, it was a BEAUTIFUL day!  80 degrees, with a perfect blue sky and the best white puffy clouds!  I’ve known Ali, (a.k.a Dr. Arsiwala to me!),  since I was in high school.  He and my mother are business associates and that is how we came to know each other.  I was greatly honored when he and Mabel asked to me capture their wedding day.  It was a great mixture of cultures and faiths, as well as GREAT food from all different cuisines.  Their wedding was small and intimate, where they were surrounded by the closest of friends.   It was a great time and again, I was honored to be such an important part of it.  Congrats you guys!  And now…on to the pics!!

Gabs gets a lot of new clothes since I am a bit of a shopaholic (but it’s not all my fault…WHY do they make little girls clothes soooo cute and irresistible!!!)?!?!  Oh yea, thats cause they know I’ll have no choice but to buy them…LOL!!!  I am just in love with this little giraffe dress from Baby Gap and we had to do a bit of a photo-shoot in it.  Even though Gabs did not want to cooperate (typical….grrrr….the kid is as stubborn as a mule…I really wonder where she got that trait from…certainly not me…well okay, maybe me…LOL!!) Through it all, we did manage to get some cute ones!  Enjoy!

It all started 7 years ago when Derek and Jessica started dating.  Since then, they’ve been apart pursuing degree’s at Michigan Tech and Michigan State (Go GREEN!!) and then Derek moving out of state.  For such a long distance relationship, their love has remained strong and true!  In fact, the cute thing about it is that they just can’t stop kissing!!  LOL!!  We encountered this during the engagement pics and the wedding was no let down, let’s just face it, Derek and Jessica just love kissing each other!!  I have to say, their wedding was beautiful, the weather was PERFECT, and their family was awesome.  There was so much love radiating throughout the day.  Also, I have to add, Jessica and her girls did the BEST Napoleon Dynamite dance EVER!! (See last pics in the set) AWESOME!!!

Wahooo!! I’ve now got a Stu-Stu-Studio!!! (for that to make sense, sing it to Sussudio by Phil Colins..LOL!!!).  I am in Waterford pretty much at the corner of Andersonville and Airport Roads.  My hours are by appointment only and I will also now be providing studio portraits!  There will be more to come but for now, enjoy some pics of the new digs!  Let me know what ya think!

It seems like just yesterday I was over doing her newborn pics!  Now Ms. Bella is a whopping 3 months old and full of fire…LOL.  She really fooled me in the beginning smiling when she saw me.  Here I am thinking, “Oh great, she likes me!!”.  Um, WRONG!  LOL!!  Bella-boo was in no mood for pics today, but we pressed on and I think came out with some definite winners and some awesome out-takes!

So first we started with the studio stuff.

After the studio stuff, we moved on to an AWESOME outdoor location, where things started out well…LOL!
