Thank you so much for inquiring about a Senior portrait session with me! I absolutely love photographing seniors and take great pride in making each and every session unique and custom! So how do senior sessions work with me? Basically, my goal is to have a session that captures YOU! Everyone is unique in their own way and I feel senior photos should capture this. I am not a cookie cutter photographer, and your session will be very much for you, and only you! During our time together, you can expect a relaxed and fun atmosphere. My main goal is for you to feel at ease and enjoy yourself, as photos are supposed to be fun. I like to get to know my clients and capture their true personalities. You can expect a mixture of both posed and candid shots.
Also, I will never rush a session. I only schedule one session per day and take on a very limited number of seniors each year.
I offer two different senior packages: Full or Mini. Both will produce similar results, just less variety in location/outfits.

What if the weather is bad on my scheduled session day? I try to be extremely flexible with scheduling. Since we shoot outdoors, we are at the mercy of Mother Nature and curveballs are thrown at me every year! Whether its 110 degrees out, raining, darkly overcast, or oddly smokey (a new one added for 2023)I will keep in contact with you via text the days leading up to and the day of your session. If deemed the weather will be a hinderance, I am completely open to rescheduling in attempts for the perfect day!
What should I wear? First and foremost remember to be YOU! I generally recommend a mixture of casual, dressy, and/or even something more formal for make for some good variety. Incorporating your varsity jacket, sports uniform(s), a college shirt, or clothing worn in other sorts of extra curricular activities you may participate in (I would not include these in your recommended outfit totals, these would be additional to that).
What to should I bring? If you play a sport, instrument, or are involved in clubs, etc then consider including those into your session! You can never bring too much to your session, we might not use it all, but it is always nice to have plenty of options.
Can I bring my pet? I love, Love, LOVE pets and have zero fear of any sort of animal, so yes, you can bring those too!
Can I take a picture with my sister/brother/mom/dad? I have no problem sneaking in a sibling or family shot during your session. If this is something you are interested in, it is usually done at the very beginning or end.
Do you take the yearbook photo? Yes and no. Depends on your school. Yes to taking a photo in on of your chosen locations to the specifications of your yearbook. No to the traditional backdropped formal photo.
How long will it take to get my photos back? I will post a handful of “teasers” on my Instagram a few days after the session. Your full gallery will be completed in 4-6 weeks.
Will you edit my acne, bruise, sweat, etc? All completed galleries are edited to some degree for color correction, artistic enhancements, blemish removal, stray hair removal, and the like. I will discuss the level of editing you want done prior to the session.
Can you photoshop out braces? This is not something I edit out and would send that out to be done. A fee would apply.
As your session gets close and you start to prepare, please keep these things in mind.
